How to Delete Your Account

You can permanently delete your account directly from the Hisaab Pro app. No need to email us or fill out any form — just follow these simple steps:

Open the Hisaab Pro App on your Android phone.

Login to your account using your phone number, OTP, PIN, or biometric.

Open Settings from the bottom navigation bar or profile menu.

Tap "Delete Account" — usually found at the bottom of the Settings screen.

Read the warning carefully — make sure you understand that this action is permanent.

Confirm account deletion by tapping the final confirm button.

Your account deletion request will be processed immediately — no waiting period, no approval needed.

What Happens After Deleting Your Account?

Once your account is deleted, the following data will be permanently removed from our servers:

Your profile will be permanently removed
Your personal information will be deleted
Your business information will be deleted
Your customer records will be deleted
Your transaction history will be deleted

Deleted data cannot be recovered — not by us, not by anyone.

Data Retention

Limited retention for legal compliance Some information may be retained only if required by applicable law or to prevent fraud and abuse. Such retained data will be deleted automatically after the legally required retention period expires. We never retain your business data, customer records, or transaction history longer than necessary.

If you want to use Hisaab Pro again after deletion, you'll need to create a fresh account from scratch.

Yes, all associated records will be permanently deleted. This includes your business profiles, customer lists, transaction history (udhar/payments), PDF invoices, reminders sent, analytics data, and any backups stored in the cloud. We recommend exporting a backup before deletion if you want to keep your records for personal reference.

Account deletion is processed immediately after confirmation in the app. There is no waiting period, no grace period, and no approval process. The moment you tap the final confirm button, your data begins to be wiped from our active database. Some residual data may persist in our encrypted backups for up to 30 days before being permanently purged, but it is inaccessible to anyone during that time.
